Terms of Service
Last updated: February 14, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PWTray, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
Description of Service
PWTray is a desktop application that connects to third-party password managers and provides a unified interface for accessing stored credentials via a keyboard shortcut. Bitwarden integration requires a one-time API key setup, and each relaunch requires an unlock with your master password. PWTray is not a password manager and does not store, manage, or back up your passwords.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PWTray for personal or commercial use, subject to these terms.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for securing your own password manager accounts and credentials. This includes your Bitwarden API key and master password. PWTray is a tool that facilitates access to your existing vaults. The security of your vault configurations remains your responsibility.
Disclaimer of Warranties
PWTray is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PWTray or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the software, including any loss of data or unauthorized access to your credentials.
Pricing & Payments
PWTray is currently free with Bitwarden support. Future integrations with additional password managers may require a paid subscription of $5/year. Pricing changes will be communicated in advance.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of PWTray after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
