Bitwarden supported now

Find and copy Bitwarden credentials in any app.
One shortcut.

PWTray opens with ⌥ OptionShiftP, lets you search your vault, and copy username, password, or 2FA code instantly. More password managers coming soon.

Password access is still slower than it should be.

Your vault is secure. The daily friction is finding and copying credentials quickly while you work.

Multiple vaults

Personal, work, and shared credentials scattered across tools.

Multiple browsers

Work profile here, personal profile there. One extension is never enough.

Locked every time

Switch app, unlock vault, search, copy, switch back. Every. Single. Time.

How PWTray works

One-time API key setup, then one unlock per relaunch.

Connect

First run only: create a Bitwarden API key and connect your vault. Open setup guide.

Open

Open PWTray from any app with your global shortcut. After relaunch, unlock once with your master password.

⌥ OptionShiftP

Copy

Search an item and copy the credential you need in seconds.

What PWTray does

It connects to your Bitwarden vault and gives you one customizable global shortcut to find and copy credentials in any app.

Zero storage

PWTray does not store passwords. It requests credentials from your vault only when you ask.

Custom hotkey

Open PWTray from any app with your own global shortcut (default ⌥ OptionShiftP).

Keyboard actions

  • Enter copies password.
  • CMDC copies username.
  • CMDT copies TOTP.
  • CMDO opens URL.

Cross-platform

Available on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Who PWTray is for

If you use Bitwarden across multiple apps, browser profiles, or work/personal contexts, PWTray is for you.

If you use one password manager in one browser, the extension works fine. You don't need this.

PWTray is for you if

  • You use Bitwarden throughout the day
  • You switch between multiple browser profiles
  • You need passwords outside the browser (terminal, desktop apps, CLI)
  • You manage personal and work credentials separately
  • You often copy username, password, or TOTP codes

You probably don't need PWTray if

  • You only need passwords in one browser profile
  • The browser extension already covers your workflow
  • You rarely need credentials in desktop apps or terminal
  • You prefer opening Bitwarden manually each time

Simple pricing

PWTray is free with Bitwarden support. Additional integrations will be included in a $5/year plan.
